The following terms and conditions apply to customers purchasing a Home Information Pack or an Energy Performance Certificate from HIP Master Limited.
All terms of business between the customer and HIP Master Limited are contained in this contract and no variation of the contract shall bind either party unless made in writing by the customer or a director of the company and agreed by both parties in writing.
Accuracy of Information Provided
The Customer takes full responsibility for the information provided for the purpose of a quotation or a subsequent order. If information provided is later found to be incorrect the customer will be responsible for any additional charges that occur due to incorrect information or the failure to provide such information.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Under the distance selling regulations we must inform customers that our service commences once an order has been requested or placed. The decision to refund a customer will be at the sole discretion of HIP Master Ltd and any refund agreed will be less any fees that have been incurred at the point of cancellation. HIP Master Ltd enters into legally binding contracts with government agencies and private companies to deliver a service to the customer therefore no automatic refund right exists.
Energy Performance Certificate Appointments
HIP Master Ltd reserves the right to charge a fee of £20 for cancellation of an appointment to carry out the Energy Performance Assessment without prior notice of more than 24 hours to cover expenses incurred and the rescheduling of the appointment.
Payment
The Home Information Pack shall remain the property of HIP Master Ltd until payment has cleared for the pack purchased. Payments for an Energy Performance Certificate or a Home Information Pack are required at the point of order.
